Human Rights Observers accuse Arvind Kejriwal over treatment of women
Mar 09, – The Human Rights observers has strongly criticized and accused the leadership of Aam Admi Party particularly Sri Arvind Kejrival for not showing respect to the women and not maintaining the dignity & respect for the women.
While observing the International Women’s day Human Rights Observers chairman Mr. Tameem said that recently the Aam Admi Party has shown utter disrespect to the women for which it should tender apologies.
Chairman of the Human Rights Observers Mr. Tameem said that the lady leaders & workers of that party themselves are opposed to the attitude of Sri Arvind Kejrival which shows the dissent of women. He said that atrocities on women folk are increasing in the country which is a matter of shame for the nation. He also said that the HRO is watching the women’s Rights violation and taking action against it & it had been successful in getting the culprits booked in the incident of gang rape and brutal murder of a teenage girl in Simla Himachal Pradesh.
Tameem also accuse Ex- Law Minister of Delhi Mr. Bharti for leading some local people and media teams at midnight to a south Delhi area.
The incident led to alleged assault of some African women dismayed by the “horrific act of harassment and racial profiling of Ugandan and Nigerian women by a group led by the Delhi ex-Law Minister” and demanded appropriate action against him who were forced to undergo medical tests.
The Delhi Commission for Women, too, issued summons to Bharti over his alleged harassment of Ugandan nationals, who have recorded statements pointing fingers at him.
The party has a mentality of a khap panchayat. There is no space for women.
While speaking he also raised several women issues, apart from the economic and social inequality Women in India consistently lag behind the men in terms of access to education, health care, unable to take lead role in politics and corporate sector. Women in India are victims of heinous crimes such as, dowry deaths, rape, molestation and immoral trafficking.
The Continuing Deterioration of Women’s Rights highlights how barbaric violations of women dignity and threaten justice across the world if we all ignore a totalitarian regime enslaving an entire people none of us can achieve justice or true civilization.
Ms. Eloida Manuella a research scholar, women development & International cooperation director from Portugal, said the conditions of women is not good, they are harassed for dowry. She further asserts that women are essential part of the society without them the men could never have come into existence.
Sri Davesh Saxena Drictor Anti Corruption HRO said that the successive government in the country have failed miserably in protecting the rights of women.
