Jan 26, – Billionaire Hong Kong businessman Cecil Chao Sze-tsung is currently offering $130 million in his continued search for the man who can marry his lesbian daughter into heterosexuality, doubling his original bounty offer of half that in 2012.

According to the Huffington Post, the Hong Kong shipping magnate and property tycoon threw down the gauntlet two years ago by offering $65 million, after which he received 20,000 unsuccessful applicants. The fact that his daughter, Gigi Chao, is in a civil partnership with her partner of nine years hasn’t deterred him. He just thinks it’s not too late to change his daughter’s mind.

According to the New Zealand Herald, the 77-year-old intended for his daughter to assume control of his business empire, but if she doesn’t marry, he would consider handing it over to his two sons. Chao says he insists he doesn’t want to interfere in her private life and only wishes her “a good marriage and children.”

Any parent would want that for their kids, but Chao’s ostentatious efforts just scream, “Golddiggers Need Apply” in neon blinking lights. With the amount he’s willing to invest, he might as well up the spectacle with a half-time show.

Gigi told the South China Morning Post, “I don’t think my dad’s offering of any amount of money would be able to attract a man I would find attractive.” On the bright side, she says she’s open to befriending any man who wouldn’t mind donating to her charity, Faith in Love.
