Husband ties up sleeping wife and cuts her EARS off in brutal attack
Afghan woman Zarina, 23, said the man, who married her when she was just 13, assaulted her while she was asleep.
She has revealed how her husband tied her up and cut off her ears in an horrific domestic violence attack in Afghanistan.
“The woman said I haven’t committed any sin,” she told. “I don’t know why my husband did this to me.
She also revealed that her husband is a very suspicious man and often accused me of talking to strange men when I went to visit my parents.
After the attack Zarina is said to be in a stable but traumatised condition following the attacking in the northern province of Balkh.
Afghan province Police have said her husband is on the run in the Kashinda district.
Zarina told the news reporters the relationship was “not good” and she wanted to split from him.
His behaviour included him trying to prevent her from seeing her parents.
The case is the latest in a series of violent attacks on women in the country which have caused worldwide outcry
Reza Gul, 22, had her nose cut off by her husband after years of abuse while child bride Sahar Gul suffered horrific injuries inflicted by her husband and his family.
Just 15 at the time she was rescued, she had been burned with cigarettes and had had her fingernails pulled out.
One woman, Aisha, 18, featured on the cover of Time magazine in 2010 after her husband cut off her nose and ears when she tried to run away.
She was sentenced to the punishment by a Taliban commander for fleeing her abusive in-laws.
